"To & From" label printouts!
The other day I made a few "To & From" labels for myself and thought, why not share the love? Just click on the links below to download a pdf of each. They are designed to print on #48863 Avery Shipping Labels (2"x4" label sheets) or you could simply cut them from paper! These would work for any occasion!

floating on a cloud
Wow, thank you everyone for your support at the Christmas in Chicora Craft Show. I had such a great time. I was truly uplifted and inspired by the people I met. I left floating on a cloud.

Oh now I am truly crafty...
I'm doing my first "craft sow" kids. I have no idea what to expect. I mean, I'm sure that this craft show will mostly have "grandma" or "country" crafts, so maybe mine will stand out more? We'll see! I was trying to figure out a better way to display my prints. I looked all over town for bins or baskets that would work. Well, once again I realized that what I want does not exist! I settled with these baskets that I found at Michaels. They had a fabric liner, which I liked because it kept the prints protected, but they were hideous colors and designs! I just went ahead and made my own. The first one turned out just right, the second not so much. It's all good because I tweaked it enough that it will work.
I just /had/ to fix the fabric...It's bad enough that I'm using baskets at all! My friends all know about my hatred for baskets. They fall into the same category as gold and wood grain. I'm slowing forming a "10 commandments" for the decor of my house. So far this is how it goes:
1. Thou shall not have wood grain
2. Thou shall not purposely buy or display gold
3. Thou shall not have woven baskets
4. Thou shall not use "silk flowers"
I don't know why I hate these things. I just do. Of course there are a few exceptions to these rules. I do have hardwood floor, and a big huge oak desk. I also like wood grain on cars. I'm sure I could deal with a basket if it was stylish enough, or fun enough. NO brown though. Thou shall NEVER have a brown/tan basket.

Cozy Cuteness
Lookie! I made my Neko a cozy little sweater! It's seriously just the hood of a felted Old Navy sweater that I got at the Thrift Store. I just cut the hood off, cut a hole for his head, and sewed on a Velcro strap to keep it on tight. I also trimmed around the edges so it wouldn't hang so low. You just need to cut and adjust to your own pup!

Artist Feature: Pinkytoast
Pinkytoast, has been extremely inspirational to me. Years and years ago, I stumbled across her live journal, and instantly fell in love with her work. It was really the first time I've seen anything like it.

Stone The Messenger
Did I mention that my little boy is in a new band?! They are called Stone The Messenger and Dustin is the singer! Well, my little boy is barely little. He's 16. I'm very proud of him and who he is growing up to be. If you're wondering how it is possible I have a 16 year old, I had him when /I/ was 16 years old. Don't worry...it's been good. God definitely knew what he was doing. If it wasn't for Dustin, I wouldn't be who I am now. Mushy-mooooshie... I know. But hey, it was bound to happen on here sooner or later!

Evil Sweets 'n Treats
So I've been dieting. Three weeks back on track at Weight Watchers and I've lost 5.2 lbs. Not bad...but still over 12 lbs to go. Anyway food has been on the brain, and how evil it is. Just one beautiful cupcake can mess things up completely. It lets the monster loose never to return! HAHA! Thus my newest painting:
