Elijah

Today I got to see the most amazing thing. . . a baby making his very first appearance on this planet. I knew my sister-in-law was going to give birth today, but I did not expect to be able to be in the room when it happened. Initially it was just going to be her and her husband, but in the craziness of it all she changed her mind and I got to stay! If she didn't mind, there was no way I was gonna pass this up!  It was the most precious experience. I have a kid myself, but it's so different to be on the other side of it all. Life is such an amazing thing.
