Decemdraw - half way roundup

As some of you may know, I've been participating in "Decemdraw" with Axelhoney! It's been totally fun! I've been so busy the last few months, I haven't really had time to sketch until now. this is exactly what I needed to get myself back in the mood. Such a nice way to celebrate December!

Starting January 2011, I embarked on a journey to draw a tree every day. Well...sadly that lasted until May. It was a great experience, but just got burned out on trees. Maybe I just got burned out in general.

Whatever the case, I'm back on the band wagon thanks to Bryan Collins and a group of other artists. We're all doing it together, and keeping each other accountable. This time, it's not just trees. It's whatever. I know not every day is going to be a masterpiece, and I'm ok with that. Some days will be better than others I'm sure. As long as I'm drawing, then I'm accomplishing my goal!  I'm continuing on with my 365 blog. I'll be posting my drawings daily. Feel free to come along if you like.

When I was a kid...

When I was a kid, at one point I wanted to be a fashion designer. It still sounds like a lot of fun to me! Who knows...maybe somday.  Check out some of my drawings from the 5th grade. HA! So amazingly 80's.

I'm so glad my mom saved these! I remember drawing them like it was yesterday.
