a relaxing weekend...

Hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

We went to Seneca Hills Family Camp, which is always wonderful.

Long walks and beautiful scenery. . .

I can't believe how many different mushrooms there were! So many colors and textures. It's been really wet around here lately, so they were plentiful. :D

Yard Sale Score!

Yay! I've been wanting a Polaroid with a rainbow! This one actually had an old pack of film inside...sadly it was all decayed and wouldn't work. Dangit! Either way, the camera is so cute!

Lomo Saturday.

Since I love toy cameras so much...and was inspired by Liefgeval, with her "Lomo Saturday" posts, I decided to do the same. I have so many pictures I'd like to share...so why not on Saturday eh?

the lost holga pix...

When I got my first roll of Holga pix developed, they were a little screwed up. Since mine is the super manual wind version, somehow I got messed up on the numbering. When the store printed them, some pix didn't come out at all, and some had halves of two different pictures on them. Today I got a new scanner that scanes negatives! So, of course I rescued the pictures that were messed up. (somehow the negatives were right...just the prints were wrong.)

This was the original that I came home with:

...and a few more that didn't get developed at all.

Currently I'm giving "Crap Cam" another try.

This time I'm using color film...and I think I did a better job at feeding the roll in. We'll see!

Hottest week EVER...n stuff.

Fisheye fun for ya...even though I did not take these pictures this week, it totally looks as hot as it felt.



This week was seriously unbearable for me. We don't have central air in our house quite yet (we're working on it). So all week I was confined to my little one room studio that has window AC. This was probably a good thing, because I had lots of work to accomplish. Stepping out of the room was so painful...it took my breath away! Blaaa. I hear that this week is going to be muuuuch better. I'm so excited! If you didn't know, I'm a fall/winter person all the way. I thrive in it!

Action Sampler!

A while back I won this Action Sampler Camera in a blog giveaway from oh my deer!
I finally got a roll developed and...

I think this might be my favorite toy camera yet! 

Here's just a few from my first roll. 

I LOVE how the top right picture is always a little over exposed!

This camera not only takes super fun pictures, but it's the smallest of my toy cameras.

I love it because I can just throw it in my purse and it doesn't weigh me down.

Holga Roll 2

Well, here is my second roll from my Holga. Literall ALL the pictures that turned out are shown here. Even though I have a couple here that are nice, I consider this roll a fail. I guess it's trial and error until I figure out what works best with it.





As you can see the picture above is divided in half. I have the super, super manual Holga that you have to actually pay attention when you advance to the next number. For some reason I thought it turned a little in my purse and I wasn't sure what number I was on. So as you can see it got screwed up! Dangit!

Oh well! It's still funzies!
