Painting in progress

Well, it's back to work finally! I didn't exactly take summer off, but I didn't exactly have a lot of time to work either. My son is back to school and summer is winding down. I've started a new schedule, which I'm hoping will enable to me to work on several paintings at once, plus work on craft show/etsy material. We'll see!

Did I mention that I got to see the Backstreet Boys the other day?
Oh yes. I am not ashamed. I love my boy bands.

Work in progress

Well...this piece is /actually/ finished as of last night. I just happened to get time to work on it, and amazingly enough finished. I've been really busy with commission work, so it's crazy that this one squeaked out at all! I'll show it to you in a day or two. Still processing the whole thing.

and...

Neko.
He's a work in progress for sure. I'm actually a little worried about him right now. His knee doesn't seem to be doing so well since the surgery. I'm sure it will just take time to heal, but I can tell it's really hurting him. He not even using that leg much at all. Poor little guy. At this point I'm wishing we never even did the surgery, but there's not much I can do about that now. Just pray his little leg heals up quick, ok?

Happy Easter!

I don't have a lot to say I guess...which explains the lack of blog posts. I've been very busy, but at the same time struggling to keep moving. Earlier this week my back decided to have one of it's flair ups which put me down for three days! I couldn't stand nor sit comfortably. After three trips to the Chiropractor I'm doing a lot better but still not 100%. I decided to go out today and get a new lamp that clips on my easel, which would enable me to adjust the height of my canvas and actually stand while painting. This is the only way I'm going to be able to paint right now. It seems to be working but it's definitely something I'm gonna have to get used to!
Here's a little sneak peak of an "in progress" commission I have going on.

Have a wonderful Easter!

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
